Hello Ladies first I would like to say thank you soooooo much for reading my 1st blog. 😄I’m super hyped lol God has been dealing with me about talking to single ladies, and sharing my personal experience and my relationship with God during  “My Wait” &  about “My Worth” for a while now. So you ladies def gave me that extra push. Thank You ☺️ So I named my blog website “Your Worth the Wait” because we all need to learn how to wait in God and also knowing our worth in God. Your worth is really how your “Heavenly Father” sees you. Through his eyes, not how this world or people view you or even how you view yourself. How we see ourselves doesn’t even come close to a fragmentation of how God sees us. I give anything just to have a moment to look through the eyes of God and see “Me” wow it would probably be a breath taking view.

Any who, so I titled this post “We all have believed a lie” because we truly have, not only have we believed so many lies but have been shaped in our thinking ,to think what we think, about ourselves. I know, too many “thinks” but really, Jesus Christ gave the ultimate example of how much we are worth to him. I truly believe that God’s feelings are so hurt, by the way we see ourselves. I can imagine him saying, “my beautiful daughters, my creation, why are you walking around with low self esteem and your heads held low. I’ve done so much to show you that I Love you. That you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are apart of a royal priesthood. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, I have adopted you into my Kingdom. Can you hear his voice saying that to you?

The way we were raised, what our parents did, what that family member did or friend no longer is an excuse for our insecurities. Jesus took those punishment for us when he went to the cross. We no longer have to accept that as our identity. We have a new identity in Christ. Ok I know your wanting me to get to the “Waiting on your husband part” lol but truly, what God 1st showed me in my “Wait Time” was “ME” he showed me my attitude, my past what I thought about my body and myself. How I gave the most valuable thing away at a young age. At the time I didn’t think it had any value, I believed that’s what you do if you felt like the guy deserved it from his interest in you. Which he did NOT. That was a lie.  I can remember one of my many alone times with God, and he brought me to this scripture:

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV

‬‬I read this passage and begin to cry like a baby, the reason I cried for  1. I thought to myself God considers me “Royalty”  really? 2 .Coming to Jesus really has opened my eyes. When I read the part in this scripture “I have called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” That’s exactly how I felt, like I’ve been in darkness my whole life but he pulled me out! I can just shout right now…. One moment…

“THANK YOU GOD!!!”

Ok I’m back lol… Wooo I had to give it to him!! So..What do I mean I’ve been in darkness my whole life? I’ve been lied to! What I thought about my self has been a LIE. This world has shaped my views about who I am and it’s a Lie. I am a Child of God. We hear it all the time, but if I’m a child of God, I share with Jesus Christ in his rewards and in all of God’s royalty here on earth and in heaven. My “Beauty ” is not in my looks, or my shape or size or my hair. My beauty is in the one who made me He has made me in his image says my Bible in Genesis 1:27 and it’s not talking so much about how much we look like God, we are made in his image meaning his characteristics of Love, Joy, Peace, Gentleness, Patients, Kindness. These Characteristics is the definition of Beauty. We ALL carry these characteristics with in us, even if we show it only some of the time.

“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”-‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That scripture says it all, another one of my Favs.  As we grow closer to God in our relationship with him the more these characteristics will poor over into our personality and we become more like Jesus!!  Glory to God! Ok So what does all of this have to do with “Waiting On My Husband” ?? Trust me it all ties in… So knowing your Worth in God will help you to build a standard. Not only what you think you deserve but what God thinks you deserve. Now your standards for you lines up with God’s standards for you. “Isnt that amazing?” A standard is put in place. So say if  any ol’ guy tries to come along and take your attention, you will  know in your heart that, wait a min. I am my Father’s prize possession and I KNOW this is not the man he has in mind for me. Now you can slowly give him the peace sign ✌ and be one more step closer to your Boaz. The days of tripping up over the wrong man is OVER.

Check this!! so while your waiting for God to send that husband, your relationship in God is getting stronger and stronger. And all that time spent with Jesus, that whole time….
He was building a “Wife” in you!!!
